Although the data contained in this app is derived from numerous sources, it is not used to diagnose or treat. This app does is not endorsed by any medical organization. This app is a study tool containing data for propagating ideas and to help the user think for their-self. This app is intended as a portfolio project. At the time of this publication some portions are in progress; any broken links are indicative.
In Medicine, there is much gray area, a name for everything and everynothing, excessive preposition usage (many "of the's"), egocentric naming (for diseases, diagnostic tests, processes, anatomy, etc.), inconsistent naming conventions, and sometimes 2 or 3 labels attached to the same thing. It can be annoying, comedic, and sometimes seems like a bad recipe. My intent with assembling this information is my attempt to simplify the medicine monster into data snippets. This is only a first draft, it may never be final, and hopefully someone else, or myself will be inspired to do better in the future. This snippets database is catered to my objectives based on my perception of common recurring patterns/repetitions seeming to require emphasis. Likewise, this datasource is not all-inclusive. Some data has been excluded. Please enjoy.
